This is a ten-step guide for taking an event and turning it into a proper rumor - one that’s juicy enough to sell and altered enough to serve the purpose of the forces shaping its narrative. This can be applied to any sort of event, as long as it’s salacious enough to be worthwhile and complex enough to be rewritten.
